No Hazardous Waste Will Be Accepted at the Transfer Station
The Town of Guilderland holds a Household Hazardous Waste Day event once a year for disposal of residential household hazardous waste (see the Hazardous Household Waste Flyer (PDF)). If you have further questions, please feel free to contact the Transfer Station at 518-861-6776.
Household Hazardous Waste Day
Household Hazardous Waste Day will take place on the following date at the Highway Department:
- Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 8 am to 2 pm
You will not need to pre-register for the event but must bring proof of residency. Proof of residency is a valid New York State Driver's License or current Town tax bill, or a current town parks and transfer station sticker. The current color is Teal.
