Jake Crawford

Jake Crawford was appointed to serve on the Guilderland Town Council in September 2022 and elected in 2023 for a full four year term. Immediately prior to his appointment to the Town Council, he served as a member of the Guilderland Zoning Board of Appeals. 

Crawford served on the ZBA from 2014 to 2022, previous to this he served on the Town's Conservation Advisory Council. In 2012 he served as a Commissioner of the Albany County Charter Review Commission. 

Jake currently works for the New York State United Teachers as an analyst on higher education, education policy and financial analysis of public and private institutions. Crawford served as policy director of the New York State Senate Higher Education Committee before joining NYSUT.

Jake holds a bachelors and masters degree from the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College. He resides in Guilderland with his wife Kellen and their three daughters.
