The NYS Uniform Code and Energy Code is effect throughout New York State. This collection of codes is based on the 2018 International Code series and is titled the 2020 Codes of New York State.
All standards outside of the Codes are accepted as listed in the chapter titled Reference Standards. These standards include the 2017 version of the National Electric Code and the 2009 version of the ICC ANSI Standard for Accessibility.
